Q: Can you tell us the hot
looks for this coming spring and summer (2005)?
A: Anything goes for Spring and Summer, but nothing happens
without a good foundation. The cut will say it all, from short
to long. Short Bob's that don't look like a Bob. Ragged edges
and interior. Lots of texture. For the romantic side, the
return of soft curls and waves. Bolder color, designed for the
individual. Styling that is quick and easy!
Q: What style is best for
my fine hair?
A: Generally shorter would be better, but we would like to see
your hair to determine the texture and amount curl or wave if
any. Consultations are always free at Axis. Give us a call
(515-277-6560) to setup your free consultation at your
convenience.
Q: Can I color and perm
hair at the same time?
A: Yes, but should only be performed by a professional salon.
In most cases depending on type of color, hair condition and
final results we don't recommend it.
Q: My hair color keeps
fading, what should I do?
A: Deep-condition hair twice before color service, hair will
take the color much better.
Q: The ends of my hair are
broken and split, what can I do?
A: It is important to keep hair trimmed regularly and
condition daily. Proper shampooing and towel drying will also
help.
Q: I told a stylist I
wanted my hair platinum blonde, and my hair turned out bright
yellow at the top, and darker at the bottom. It's better now
that I just bought some ColorSpa "wheat blonde" to neutralize
it, but can you help me get to the light "Jessica Simpson"
blonde? How much would that cost?
A: To be totally honest we would need to see your hair before
hand. It requires evening out the hair color then processing
it to the platinum blonde you desire. We offer free
consultations and then would determine what exactly needs to
be done. Typically, costs run anywhere from $80 and up. |
